Trump's choices are dangerous

Donald Trump is rewarding his loyalists with important positions. CNN says that he may be nominating senator Jeff Sessions as the Attorney General and ex-General Finney as the NSA chief. Both are known bigots and have made comments about Islam that are not only wrong but are dangerous, and can be exploited by America's enemies to expand their enmity. These nominees, btw, will not require confirmation by the House.
In 1986, Sessions became only the second nominee in 50 years to be denied confirmation as a federal judge after allegations that he had made racist remarks. Those included testimony that in 1986 he had called an African-American prosecutor "boy," an allegation Sessions denied.
Sessions said he was not a racist, but said at his hearing that groups such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the American Civil Liberties Union could be considered "un-American."
Trump's choices are not surprising though, but definitely are stupid and dangerous in a highly polarized world, which needs more of a unifier than a divider.
