Arakan Times reports military raid in Rohingya IDP camps

As I have said that there is hardly a country in the world that is worse than Myanmar in our time when it comes to its apartheid policy. Daily persecution and harassment of the minority Rohingya has reached a new high. It is simply unacceptable. We can simply watch such sufferings in anguish and frustration as the world body ignores their plight. What is happening to our moral compass?
See the report below from Arakan Times:

Myanmar brutal joint forces of military and BGP raided an IDP camp of Pangkhain (Sawarang under Rathedaung where they arrested nearly 100 Rohingya including children and women who have been severely tortured today, 23 August 2017 according to locals.

Today at around 5:30 am, about 30 military & BGP personal jointly arrived at the IDP camp and started arresting any Rohingya fell before them including children and women who have been assaulted mercilessly and indiscriminately with gun bat and kicked with their heavy boots.
According to our correspondent report, about 100 innocent Rohingya civilians have been arrested during the raid.
The joint forces continued raid for hours since morning today and ransacked the houses and looted valuables of Rohingya intruding house by house.
Now the Rohingya in the Internally Displaced Person camp are in panic situation following intensified crackdown conducted against the Rohingya IDPs.
Another report says, a girl infant was snatched from mother and thrown into the water by army when the mother tried to snatch the father from the clutch of army. Later, the baby was rescued by a man. But, the baby is now in critical condition as it drank much water when it was thrown.
The arrestees are still being tortured at the notorious detention center (so-called custody) and their further fate is unknown, says a villager.
The Rohingya Muslims are now in appalling situation in the IDP camp as the tense situation is prevailing day by day after the fresh deployment of 500 armies from upper part of Myanmar with a view to ethnic cleansing.
